JOURNEY OF HOPE – Young Women’s Programme
The Freedom Project – Journey of Hope – 18 – 30 years old
Focus: Supporting women affected by trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges through a blend of self-care, creativity, and self-expression, culminating in a personal piece that represents hope.
This programme runs on a Friday morning 10am – 12noon for 6 weeks.
Start date: Friday 21st February – 28th March 2025
Programme Goals
Foster resilience, well-being, and recovery through creative and therapeutic practices.
Create a supportive, peer-led environment that promotes self-expression and connection.
Develop individual pieces of art that reflect each participant’s personal journey and understanding of hope
Programme Features
Therapeutic Integration: Complimentary therapies foster relaxation and self-care while complementing the creative process.
Creative Expression: Art workshops allow participants to channel emotions, tell their stories, and visualize hope.
Peer Support: Discussions and group activities build a sense of community, reducing isolation.
Individual Empowerment: Each participant creates a unique piece of art representing their personal journey of hope.
